FRIENDS OF OPTIMIST SPONSORSHIP

Friends of Optimist are Individuals Members who can show their support to Optimist International or Optimist International Ghana by becoming Friends of Optimists. A Friend of Optimists may be someone who does not join or have an Optimist Club in their area, or they may not have time to dedicate to a local Optimist Club but always support. Optimist Clubs can also bestow a Friend of Optimists membership on a community member who has shown great support for the Club.

 

AN OPTIMIST CLUB

It is a non-profit voluntary organization made up of civic minded men and women banded together for progressive thought and action in community service. Membership is by getting close to us or by invitation and is composed of citizens drawn from business, industry, agriculture, and the professions. Members are motivated by the desire to contribute to the community from which they and their families draw daily benefits. There is no greater opportunity for participation in community affairs and service than in an Optimist Club. We take pride in supporting our kids, youth and children in our communities, and thus the slogan “Friend of Youth”.

We are always looking for new members to keep our club growing. We at Optimist International Ghana are part of Optimist International in US and in Canada, having something great to offer Kids, Children and Youth in communities, and to keep Optimist mission and vision in the right direction to grow the organization in communities. A Friend of Optimists may be someone who does not have an Optimist Club in their area, or they may not have time to dedicate to a local Optimist Club but always support our aim and objectives to achieve our aim. Optimist Clubs can also bestow a Friend of Optimists membership on a community who has shown great support for the Club.
